Assistant Director

Assistant Director of the Benjamin Church Senior Center in Bristol RI, Graduate of Our Lady of Fatima High School and College of Hard Knock’s.
A Bristol native, fluent in Portuguese, married to her husband Dave with two children Jesse 12 and Emma 10.
Donna is inspired by her parents and grandmother, who have been her role model and taught her to put others first. She is a great advocate for seniors in the East Bay area. She has developed numerous programs for them, including Coffee with a Cop, Foster a senior, Senior Garden Boxes, Free sponsored lunches for seniors, and many other activities programs for the community.
During her very minimal downtime, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends and dabbles in photography, making her well know as the snap Chat Queen with her seniors.

She feels like she is the Senior Whisperer and tries to grant their wishes.

"I live alone. My wife died years ago so I spend many days and nights alone. I depend on the Senior Center for transportation every day to lunch and to the grocery store ... My children are happy to know that I am eating well and socializing with friends at the Senior Center."

"I come to the Senior Center everyday for lunch ... The lunch program is fantastic. This is one of my favorite things to do. My daughter is grateful for the Center because she knows that I'm getting my meals and that I have something to look forward to everyday that gets me out of the house."
